The Indodrill Stadium was the venue for Barry Ferguson's Alloa Athletic versus Ian Murray's Airdrieonians.
Alloa were sitting 6th in Scottish League One with 14 points, whilst Airdrie were in 3rd on 20 points.

The game got off to a slow start, with majority of the play being in the middle of the park.
Airdrie were playing with an unsustainable amount of pressure, pressing Alloa at any given opportunity.
Alloa would hit the counter-attack effectively, with Euan Henderson going on a driving solo run to put his side in the lead. 1-0 Alloa Athletic.
The second half started strongly for Alloa, with them finding plenty of room on the right. Taggart sent in a missile of a cross that would be redirected by Cawley to hit the post.
A few minutes later, Henderson got his second of the day. A well taken goal after some good control in the Airdrie box.
Alloa tried to play some nice passing football, but it would eventually catch up with them. A misplaced pass at the edge of their own box, saw the ball with Airdrie's Fordyce, his effort was deflected into the bottom corner on the 85th minute.
A cagey end to the game saw Alloa hold on and win 2-1.
Barry Ferguson continued in the same manner that made him a successful player. Kicking every ball from the touchline, shouting and whistling constantly, trying to get his message across.
The atmosphere was lacking throughout. Airdrie supporters perked up for the last five minutes, trying to encourage their team. For an attendance of nearly 900, it was fairly disappointing.
